First of all I would like to welcome you to Ardtalamcu Web site. I hope you enjoy your visit.

The affix Ardtalamcu was granted to me in 1999. It had been my childhood dream to breed these magnificent dog under my own kennel name ever since I was in Primary 5 (9-10 years old)and my teacher used to bring her Shepherds into school for us to see.

Ardtalamcu is actually 3 little Gaelic words put together.

Ard which means high, pronounced Awrd

Talam meaning land and pronounced Thalam

Cu, pronounced Coo and meaning dog.

'High Land Dog'.......Awrd Thalam Coo

Every pup I have bred has Kyalas Zena of Ardtalamcu (Layah) in their pedigree.

I was very fortunate to get Layah as she was from the Amulree lines. Apart from Amulree dogs being good lines she was also related to Kaiser, my familes 1st registered Shepherd, whom we purchased from Mrs Anderson the affix holder.

Kaiser in 1990 meeting my first child, he was such a gentle boy
